Who Are We
Born from the shared vision of two friends and encouraged by the people around them, Fresh Union took its first steps in 2021, right in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as a small, determined team of fewer than ten quickly evolved into a growing family united by a love of great food and a commitment to doing things differently.
From those late nights and early mornings in New Covent Garden Market, sourcing the finest fruit, vegetables, salads, dairy, bakery and dried goods, our reputation for quality, reliability and genuine care began to spread. As chefs and partners placed their trust in us, our team naturally expanded.
Today, more than 65 passionate individuals bring many decades of combined experience in food supply to everything we do.
Through every challenge and every milestone, one thing has remained constant: our belief in building real partnerships. We’re more than a supplier—we’re a reliable, knowledgeable ally for chefs who demand consistency, solutions and exceptional produce, day after day.

We are SALSA certified, ‘Safe and Local Supplier Approved’. Food safety is non-negotiable for us and we take it very seriously with our in-house and third-party auditors regularly inspecting, recording and certifying all of our operations.
Elite Distribution
A fully temperature controller warehouse and a fleet of 14 vans, ensure a full temperature controlled delivery from door to door.

We are honoured to call the renowned New Covent Garden Market our home. We’ve been the trusted foodservice partner for some of the capital’s (and beyond) most demanding kitchens, from luxury hotels and top restaurants to premium schools, colleges and sports clubs.
With a product range expanding over 5,000 items, we deliver everything from vibrant fruits, crisp vegetables and rare exotics to bakery, dairy, frozen, ambient products and expertly prepared produce ready to use.
At Fresh Union, we’re passionate about product development and bringing new products, ideas and trends into the kitchens in London. We travel worldwide to experience the true taste and origin of each product. Our journey has taken us to Peru, Costa Rica, Turkey, Spain and Belgium just to name a few. This allows us to ensure each and every product you receive comes with authenticity, quality and inspiration for the chefs we serve.
